A friend in the area is having knee replacement surgery next week. She'd hoped to borrow an adult commode/raised toilet seat unit from the Franklin County Triad organization at the Franklin County jail. But they're closed due to Covid concerns which is unfortunate given how many people borrow equipment from their collection.
I thought of asking here if anyone has anything like this to sell. A shower transfer chair would also be helpful. Thank you.
Looking for suggestions for Bridal Shower locations in the surrounding area (Amherst, Belchertown, Hadley, Greenfield, etc). or even places for catering event if we find just a hall to rent. Thank you! email@example.com
Looking to see if any departments have a supply of Pressboard Report Covers they are getting rid of, our department is in need of them so thought I would check to see if anyone is recycling these.
I am writing as a member of a dog club seeking a hay field/pasture in which we could hold a dog trial. The field needs to be at least 6 clear acres, with grass no more than 4 inches tall. I'd love to find a field we could use in late June, after the first cutting if the land is an active hay field. The dates are flexible at this point. The club carries a million dollar liability insurance policy. Participants are required to take home all animal waste. We are able to pay $500 for the weekend of use.
If you own or lease a field that might be appropriate please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Looking for a toddler pool for my grandson. His parents are college students. We would like a ridged sided pool, like Step 2 or Fisher Price. something sturdy and in good condition. slid, sprinkler is a plus. Let me know if your toddler or grandchild has outgrown yours. Thanks, Leesa 665-2695 or 545-6114.
I am looking for any plastic, glass or any kind of fake fruit, specifically apples - you know... the old plastic ones grandma had on her kitchen table in a bowl!
My local Historical Society is trying to collect as many as we can for a permanent display so I thought I'd throw it out on here to see if you have any in your attic collecting dust and would like to donate them to our Historical Society.
Or should you see them in the FREE Piles at any of the upcoming garage/tag sales along side the road, please pick them up for us!
Girls Scout Cookie time. Let me know what you would like. There are no new cookies this year, however all cookies are $5.00 with the exception of the Girl Scout S'Mores, and the Toffee-Tastic are $6.00.
You might want to look at a site called redweek.com (I think that's the name) that lists timeshares for sale and for rent. It might at least give you an idea of what's for sale and what people are asking. Good luck; I suspect there are lots of timeshares on the market, and that the competition is rough. If so, your son might want to list it as a rental and possibly recoup some of his payments.
Does anyone currently use a Dymo Label Maker for making mailing labels? Someone has asked me to assist with a 300+ mailing, said that the names and addresses are currently in a data base and now need to make the mailing labels. I wasn't sure if there was a way to connect the two and have them print. Another person said we would have to enter each label separately. Please call me if you can offer some help. Thanks. Lorie 545-4602 (UMass)
My son was talked into buying a timeshare about a year / year and a half ago in Florida. It's a beautiful resort, but the sale was for a one week stay every other year. Between the payment ea month and maintenance fee he's at a point where he is not interested in it anymore and looking for a way to sell it or get out of the deal. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do. He still owes money on it so I'm not sure how a sale would work. Do real estate agencies help with this sort of thing?
A consignment shop in my town started collecting scarves for those in need. Right after Christmas for the last few years, they gather up the donations and "Scarf Bomb" the town of Athol. The scarves are tied to the lamp-posts, benches and street signs, for those in need to claim. Last year 100 were donated and all were claimed. Please help us keep families in need warm this winter.
Please look in your winter storage, or if you would like to purchase and donate a new scarf, it will be gratefully accepted. All donations (unless new with tags) are requested to be freshly laundered and placed in a plastic bag. Each scarf does not have to be individually bagged, you can bag multiples together.
I have agreed to reach out to our campus community for donations and am volunteering my personal time to trasnport them and assist in tying the donated scarves up to be claimed.
If you are interested in donating, I can arrange pickup from any UMass mail room over the next five weeks. I would like to receive all donations no later than Jan 5, 2017 for distribution later that weekend. Any donations made on the UMass campus should be placed in a tied-off walmart or big-y type plastic bag, with a note reading "Project Scarf - ATTN Mail Services" stapled to the bag. If you are part of the 5 college community and would like to donate, please contact me to make arrangements to get the donations to me.
I am hoping with help from the campus community we can double the number of scarves for this year!
Thanks in advance for helping families in need keep warm this winter...
Any quilters / sewing out there. I am looking for a Baby Genius Quilt panel or material. These were popular about 10 years ago. If anyone has one in good condition to sell. Please let me know. Leesa 545-6114. Thanks!
Looking for barn to rent with room for 5-12 horses (stalls or run-ins or a combination) in the Five College area of Western Mass. Would like to be in an entire private facility, not a block of stalls in an existing business. This would be the personal horses of a group of mature, capable people that want a quiet facility to work out of and not do client boarding or lessons. Can provide excellent references.
That would be great! Could you get it to the basement of Memorial Hall? My friend Gail works there. (You may have seen her on campus; she's blind and has a white german shepherd guide dog.) If you can, I'll let her know and give you her # so you can arrange a drop off. Thanks,

I'm making apple sauce, apple butter, and hopefully cider. If you're interested in trading labor or products for some apples, let me know that as well.
